“Booking” means the period for which you have paid to stay at the Property.
“Property” means the Buchan Motel, 67 Main Road, Buchan VIC 3885 and all its fixtures, fittings and equipment.
“Management” means the owners and managers of the Property.
"Guests" means the persons who stay overnight in the Property during the Booking.
"Visitor" means a person a Guest permits to visit the Property during the Booking.
Payment constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Check-in time is after 2pm on the arrival date and check out time is not later than 10am on departure date. Late departure or early arrival is subject to prior arrangement and availability and extra charges may apply.
Where possible it is appreciated to notify management of expected arrival time and a mobile contact number prior to arrival.
A 25% deposit must be received at the time of booking. The balance owing must be received upon arrival. Bookings are not confirmed unless and until the 25% deposit is received.
Payments of the amount due must be received in Australian $ net of any bank or other transaction charges.
We accept payment by the following methods:
Direct Deposit, Visa, MasterCard.
If you wish to vary or cancel your booking, please contact us immediately on 03 5155 9419.
Your payment is refundable in the event of a cancellation with at least 72 hours notice.
Should you be eligible for a refund it will be made through your chosen payment method at time of booking.
A variation of the booking that reduces the number of nights stay will be treated as a cancellation.
At no time during your occupancy is the number of guests to exceed the number booked, unless prior approval is sought and given by management. The use of extra beds other than the number booked will attract an additional tariff. Any person exceeding the maximum occupancy will be considered a trespasser and will be evicted.
A credit card authorisation must be provided to management upon confirmation of your booking.
Any damage loss or expense incurred by management as a result of your breach of these Terms & Conditions will be charged against the credit card. Examples include but are not limited to any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests or visitors beyond those declared.
Supervision of children on the property is required at all times and is fully the responsibility of parents or guardians . Management accept no responsibility for the safety of your children. Any damage caused by children is the responsibility of the parents or guardians.
On your departure your room is to be left in a clean and tidy state. Extra cleaning charges will apply if this condition is breached. If there is any evidence of smoking inside rooms you will be charged for a specialised clean to eliminate odours.
Compensation will not apply if a significant change is made for reasons beyond our control. These include war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, health risks, changes due to re scheduling or cancelation of flights, closed or congested airports or ports, cyclones and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, act of government or public authorities.
Management will inform you immediately and endeavour to obtain suitable alternative accommodation for your occupancy.
Parties, functions and commercial use require prior approval at the time of booking and special conditions will apply including extra charges. Guests remain responsible for persons attending, no disturbance of neighbours, no undue noise, silence when entering and leaving the premises, no behaviour likely to cause damage to property or offence or embarrassment to others.
Breach of this condition may result in immediate termination and eviction without refund and extra charges for security, cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc.
All linen is supplied, including pillows, blankets and towels which must be left where supplied in the bedrooms or bathroom on departure
Pets are not allowed at the property unless prior arrangements have been made, with the exception of service dogs.
In the case of any problem or complaint, you must inform management at the earliest opportunity, so management has the chance to rectify the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible. You must allow repair/service access to the property during reasonable hours.
Any complaint, which cannot be resolved locally, must be notified in writing to management prior to departure from the property.
Failure to follow this procedure this may hinder the ability of management to rectify the problem or complaint and reduce or extinguish any claim you may have.
We recommend all guests purchase travel insurance since management are not responsible for any injuries, illness or accidents that may occur whilst staying at our property.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in the rooms or near open doorways. Please close the balcony door when smoking on the balcony. If there is any evidence of smoking inside rooms you will be charged for a specialised clean to eliminate odours.
Damages or breakages of furniture or furnishings must be reported to management immediately. Breakages or damage to the property and all communal or external areas that are caused by any guest and/or a guest’s visitor will be charged and recouped in full from the guests credit card.
Excess cleaning required on departure or replacement of items removed from the accommodation will be charged to the guest’s credit card.
Furniture, fittings and fixtures are not to be altered or moved between rooms or properties. There will be a charge if furniture is not returned to it’s original location.
You acknowledge that we do not cover your personal belongings under our insurance policy and therefore take no responsibility for any loss or damage of the occupants’ personal belongings left on the premises and agree that you will not make any claim against us for any damages or loss to your personal belongings regardless of how or where the damage occurred. We highly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance.
You agree that should you or your guests breach any of the terms and conditions you will pay to us the total loss or damages that we suffer as a result of that breach and hereby authorise us to debit your credit card for payment of that loss or damage and we may evict you and your guests without notice.
